Envasador de molinos
Mill packers are responsible for packaging flour based on customer requirements, cost and quality at flour mills. They operate different industrial packaging equipment such as tote fillers, which fill industrial tote bags, and stretch-wrap machines. Mill packers will also ensure that their workstations are kept clean and that there is always enough packaging materials in stock.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Package flour based on customer requirements, cost and quality
- Place packages on pallets and check that all pallets are in good condition prior to loading
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Be responsible for overall quality of the packaged goods (e.g., ensure labels are legible)
- Notify management of any issues that would impair packaging functions, cause changes in quality or affect efficiency of responsibility
- Collect samples for quality control teams
- Perform quality assurance for appearance and fill package weight
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Operate a tote filling and packing system and stretch-wrap machine
- Operate a pallet jack to move products and packaging material into and out of automatic case-sorting equipment
- Monitor inventory for packaging materials and report low levels when needed
- Operate sealing and labeling machine
- Ensure food safety and compliance during the packing of products

Formación requerida:
A high school diploma is required to be a mill packer, but an associate degree will make a candidate more employable.
