Despachador
Dispatchers play an important role in coordinating product shipments and transfers by combining aspects of logistics and customer service. They take calls from staff and customers, assist with communications and transfer to the appropriate department as necessary. Additionally, they will take, process and prepare orders for pickup or delivery.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Accept calls from sales staff, customers and other locations for order of materials
- Direct calls to the appropriate department as needed and record customer information for customer follow-up
- Take, process and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
- Negotiate delivery times with customers and prevent lost orders
- Document customer complaints and forward to dispatch manager and/or sales representative
- Coordinate product transfers between locations and departments
- Contact trucking companies to coordinate shipments
- Instruct drivers on load requirements
- Complete weight tags, bills of loading and hazardous material shipping papers
- Manage future orders from customers and enter order into the computer system
- Keep track of inventory of products stored in warehouses and in bulk storage
- Calculate total quantities of product by weight and volumetric measurements
- Perform customer service duties as needed to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide backup and assistance to other dispatchers and/or receptionist
- Track and report all shipments to security regarding authorizations on property after hours

Formación requerida:
At minimum, a high school diploma is required, but an associate degree in agricultural business or general business may increase your employability.
