Ingeniero/Técnico en robótica
Robotics engineers and technicians are responsible for designing, building and maintaining robotic systems that automate tasks in agriculture and food production. They will develop and test robotic prototypes, troubleshoot equipment and optimize system performance. Additionally, they collaborate with operations, maintenance, and health and safety teams to ensure effective and reliable integration of robotic systems.

- Design and build robotic systems for automation in agriculture and food production and processing
- Install and calibrate robotic components and sensors
- Program robots, including complex systems and AI-based tasks
- Test, troubleshoot and debug robotic hardware and software
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems
- Develop robotic path motions and three-dimensional simulations
- Document technical specifications and maintenance procedures
- Analyze data to optimize efficiency and safety
- Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
- Train operators on robotic system use and safety protocols
- Research and assess emerging robotic technologies for agriculture and food production
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and production teams

Education/Training Required
