Inspector de productos
A produce inspector is responsible for physically inspecting fresh produce as produce grows and is harvested. Produce inspectors will also grade the product in accordance with USDA guidelines. They will make suggestions on the shelf life of the produce and suggest when it should be used or sold by, depending on product use.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Inspect produce in the field and at its destination when it arrives
- Grade product for quality, condition, weight and size
- Determine the condition of the produce
- Complete documentation based on inspections
- Make suggestions on the shelf life of produce
- Make recommendations on the use of different varieties
- Conduct random shipping audits for outbound product quality and condition
- Inspect coolers and refrigerator warehouses to ensure quality and proper rotation of products
- Ensure produce is kept at the proper temperature
- Understand the use of tools needed for quality inspections
- Collaborate with USDA produce inspectors for needed federal inspections

Formación requerida:
A bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, plant science, marketing, supply chain management, horticulture or a related field is required.
