Inventory/Stock Specialist
Inventory/stock specialists are responsible for ensuring that the products at agricultural facilities are properly accounted for and stored. They will work with production teams to monitor inventory levels and ensure agricultural facilities operate at full capacity. If there are discrepancies in inventory numbers, the inventory/stock specialist will perform investigations to find the root cause of the problem.

What Responsibilities Will I Have?
- Develop, implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory movements
- Manage inventory using a computerized database
- Ensure that inventory numbers are received and input into the system correctly
- Investigate inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and create possible solutions
- Ensure that appropriate checks are in place for the payment of fees
- Be responsible for adhering to health and safety standards for the movement of inventory
- Monitor daily manufacturing production to ensure accurate reporting and consumption of inventory
- Work with manufacturing teams to reduce the waste of dated products
- Work closely with logistics, warehouse and purchasing management
- Receive and process customer orders and complete necessary paperwork
- Communicate relevant issues, activities and events to the production manager
- Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders
- Review documentation and monitor product codes
- Monitor the payment of storage and handling fees
- Complete inventory reports
- Assist production team with scheduling the production of products

Education/Training Required:
A high school diploma is required. An associate degree in agricultural business, supply chain or a related field is preferred.
