Agricultural Education Systems

I decided to become an Agricultural Education teacher because this was such a huge part of my life that I wasn’t willing to give up.

I’m agriculture teacher and FFA advisor because I want to give back to other kids the opportunities I had.

My ag. teachers were a huge part of my high school career and I want to be that for students one day.

During high school I was on track to become a small animal veterinarian, but was then exposed to large animals on our school farm and became so passionate about the agriculture industry that I chose to change my focus, changing my future college major to animal science in the process. After receiving my American Degree I had the realization that I was not ready to leave the world of agriculture education. I had learned so much about leadership, relationship building, and myself that I wanted to be able to pass that knowledge to the next generation and help them become passionate about an industry that I will never stop advocating for. Within a week of receiving my American Degree at the 2019 National Convention and Expo, I changed my career path and I am now teaching agriculture.
