Executive assistants provide support to the chief executive officer (CEO) or president of the company while also serving as the primary business administrator for the head office. On behalf of the CEO, they plan, coordinate, schedule and conduct secretarial activities on their behalf.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?

  • Act as a personal assistant and confidential secretary
  • Handle information with an extremely high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Perform secretarial tasks
  • Attend regular meetings and record resolutions
  • Manage travel arrangements, business schedules and appointments
  • Communicate with other senior management as required and act on the executive’s behalf
  • Organize all report and filing methods and procedures
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory
  • Participate in other functions such as public relations, accounting and personnel
  • Manage the executive’s calendars and set up meetings
  • Track expenses and prepare reports
  • Compose and prepare correspondence such as emails and letters from the CEO
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments
  • Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities

Formación requerida:

It may be beneficial for an executive assistant to have an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, but a degree is not necessarily required. An executive assistant should have advanced skills using Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel.
