Técnico/coordinador de automatización
Automation technicians are responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of computer and robotic systems used in a variety of agricultural sectors. Automation technicians work closely with manufacturing staff helping to improve efficiency, safety and troubleshooting. They must have a strong understanding of topics and skills related to electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Assist engineering and manufacturing staff with the specification, installation and modification of systems
- Program and modify computer programming
- Provide status updates, manage expectations and resolve issues with production staff
- Work with team members, site customers and leadership on assigned projects
- Provide expertise to continue the advancement of automated systems throughout a site
- Install, maintain and inspect workstation and control-system installations throughout a facility
- Inspect and review manufacturing equipment installations for design and troubleshooting purposes
- Ensure machines are properly calibrated
- Coordinate personnel schedules and duties as required to accomplish departmental goals
- Provide technical and business guidance and mentoring for automation technicians and automation engineers
- Provide training on equipment software
- Undertake emergency troubleshooting to determine problems associated with the machines
- Adhere to health and safety standards

Formación requerida:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics technology, bioengineering, process control, mechanics, computer science or a related field is a requirement to be an automation technician/coordinator. There are also industry certifications you can obtain.
