¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Be familiar with existing social media outlets and stay up to date on new outlets
- Create or coordinate the creation of social media content (photos, videos, graphics, written copy)
- Manage and create effective content for social media platforms and blogs (if applicable)
- Support digital campaigns that have social media components
- Review market research to generate reports on the most effective social media platforms and strategies
- Protect the organization and its brands by responding to issues that arise on social media
- Be familiar with social media analytics metrics and resources and use them to gage the success of social media efforts
- Monitor the social media market for any changes that can affect marketing strategies
- Record social media analytics and perform forecasting for marketing to achieve sales objectives
- Draw conclusions and make recommendations based on campaign analysis
- Manage external vendor and consumer relationships
- Lead and manage marketing projects, including planning, budget and status reporting
- Monitor and analyze metrics and outcomes of marketing programs
- Track and report on budgets for assigned programs

Formación requerida:
Social media strategists may have an associates or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration or a closely related field. When working in agriculture, an agricultural communications degree is more competitive for job-seeking individuals.
