What Responsibilities Will I Have?
- Perform assembly, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals
- Work with agricultural systems including engines, transmissions, hydraulics and precision agricultural equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Weld, fabricate metal and assemble electrical units
- Travel to service equipment in the field
- Schedule repair appointments with clients
- Use computers to investigate and repair mechanical equipment
- Work with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets specifications
- Complete paperwork reporting work completed
- Operate drill presses, grinders or engine lathes to modify parts tested
- Fabricate experimental parts for testing
- Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment

Education/Training Required:
