Adquisición de productos básicos/comercializador

Los encargados de la compra/comercialización de materias primas trabajarán con una o varias materias primas que necesite una empresa concreta. Esta persona se encargará de la localización, el comercio, las compras y la gestión de cuentas de clientes en relación con esas materias primas concretas. Son el punto de contacto para proveedores y asesores de mercado externos y apoyan a los grupos de materias primas negociando iniciativas de ahorro y esfuerzos de mitigación de costes.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?

  • Collaborate between feed formulators and plant managers to provide lowest cost options for all grain, feed ingredients, proteins and commodities
  • Build productive, long-term relationships with vendors, farmers and suppliers
  • Determine strategic supply objectives using tools and reports to make decisions around products and commodity purchases
  • Assess supply base and negotiate best cost structure according to product specifications
  • Identify and develop a reliable and effective base of qualified suppliers
  • Procure ingredients for current and new product development
  • Advise management of market conditions and supply base activity
  • Drive supplier quality improvement through rapid improvement events, supplier quality audits, training and certifications as required
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in company system
  • Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned
  • Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items to ensure that all items are delivered on time
  • Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products

Formación requerida:

An associate or bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, supply chain management, accounting or finance is needed.
