Director de terminal portuaria
Port terminal managers are responsible for ensuring the port terminals (place where cargo is transported from land to sea or sea to land) are operating efficiently at all times by planning, administering and reviewing their operations. They are also in charge of safety and health throughout the terminal, including the proper handling of dangerous goods.

¿Qué responsabilidades tendré?
- Lead production operation of a port terminal
- Develop and deliver business plans to meet port terminal commitments
- Oversee terminal budget
- Coordinate with rail carriers on the delivery of product
- Perform data analysis work to improve operations planning
- Manage vessel tug, barge switching and fleeting operations
- Be responsible for safety and health throughout the terminal
- Perform daily checks of communication equipment like radio sets
- Lead, develop and implement strategic and operational planning
- Serve as liaison with industry stakeholders
- Represent the company on external committees and associations
- Work with external regulatory and governing agencies to ensure the port is staying compliant
- Supervise shipping process and inventory management
- Monitor computerized automation system
- Perform safety engagement and encourage worker safety
- Coordinate and distribute products to maximize efficiency

Formación requerida:
A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain management or a related field is required for a job as a port terminal manager.
